Description
Gustavian fully decorated column tile stove from around 1790-95. Made in Stockholm, probably according to drawings by
Louis Masreliez (1748-1810). He was one of Sweden’s main interior designers during the 18th century and worked for King Gustav lll, among others. One of Masreliez’s famous works is Gustav lll’s Haga Pavilion. He is the creator of the late Gustavian interior art.
Tile stoves of this quality and design are very rare. The condition is very good, with a full height of 310 cm.
The stove can be built either in a corner, or at a straight wall.
